Veterans Against Terrorism – Manchester… – British Armed Forces ‘The Best’

British SAS (Special Air Service) veteran “Big Phil” Campion tells it like it is!

I am an ordained Anglican clergyman, published writer, former op-ed columnist, and experienced outdoor and informal educator. I am also a traditionalist: religiously, philosophically, politically, and socially. I seek to do my bit to promote and restore the Good, the True, and the Beautiful, in a world which has too-often lost touch with all three, and to help re-weave the connections between God, Nature, and humankind which our techno-industrial civilization has strained and broken.

Amazing! I just came across this in my FB feed … just when I was thinking to myself that life was sweeter before I started reading about militant Islam and voicing my concerns publicly I saw this and had to share it … It’s impossible to not pick a side in the current political climate. This video brought a smile to my face though as it is cool to see that patriotism isn’t dead on our continent. All European nations face the same enemies – those who seek to destroy our identity and strength from within and those from the outside pushing inwards + jihadis that are already here. I see that this “Big Phil” was upset when EDL shared this video; this is precisely what I heard about American patriots defending a statue of a “southerner.” Real “Nazis” (read: uncompromising racists/extremists) and wrongly accused Nazis (read: post-modern-patriots/conservatives/classical liberals/traditionalists) [trust me we are all Fascists in the eyes of the hard-left, even those of us who aren’t-myself included] were clashing among themselves. They had all gathered to protect a part of their history, but their ideological frames were different. Those who are moderate patriots (read: civic nationalists) are very good at condemning and distancing themselves from those who hold so-called “extreme” patriotic views (read: ethno-nationalists) – but this results in fragmentation since we all look the same to our brothers and sisters who perceive borders as “oppression,” we all look like filthy crusaders to Islamic terrorists too. Any patriotic person can be attacked any time by a far-left radical, or muslim-radical, you can even be accused of breaking the law of “hate speech,” you can be banned from certain social-media sites. We all look like racists to progressives. Any patriot does. Waving your flag is racist. Singing your national anthem is racist. Honouring the past is racist. Everything is. Yet all of these various groups who share a common concern about the state of the west are busy with infighting. I suspect that we will all need each other in the years to come if we are to defeat the insidious forces at hand. Let us deal with the infighting later. The Americans sided with Stalin to defeat the Nazis. Maybe we will have to side with the “extreme-right” (read: actual racists) to defeat Islamism within our borders? We might be forced to whether we like it or not. We might not have a choice eventually. Not to forget that these “Islamist elements” were invited into our nations by political ideologues … It is not just Islamism that is threatening us. The far-left-policy-making-elite & the much criticised extreme-capitalists have played their part in fundamentally changing Europe. I’m not too worried about the extreme-capitalists at this point, as their “utopia” can be halted with protectionist-policies, but the political correctness and rewriting of our history/identity as advocated and enforced by the hard-left remains the most pressing issue as these people are weakening our defences and the spirit of the people. I stand with England. I stand with the USA. I stand with Europe. I stand with the West. I’ll keep an eye out for any future anti-terror marches.
