His Royal Highness, Charles, Prince of Wales, with a compassionate and encouraging message at this time of coronavirus.

As most watchers will know, HRH The Prince of Wales has recently recovered from what was fortunately a mild case of COVID-19, himself, so he is presumably especially empathetic to others suffering, or with anxiety because of, this pandemic. May God preserve Her Majesty and all members of the Royal Family. God save The Queen!

“On May 15, the future King of the United Kingdom will open the doors to his new bed and breakfast, known as Granary Lodge, to the public. The 10-bedroom development overlooks the picturesque North Sea on the grounds of the Castle of Mey in Caithness, Scotland

“Each room is decorated with plush Victorian style, with dark wood furniture, floral drapery, and pastel-colored walls. Basically, it’s everything you’d expect from a royal residence.”

No, HRH The Prince of Wales has not become a member of the bourgeoisie! As are most of his ventures, this one has a more charitable purpose:

“Though it may prove popular, don’t expect the Prince to get rich off this endeavour. As Clarence House said in a statement: ‘The accommodation will be owned and operated by The Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust, and profits raised will go towards maintaining and operating the estate as a tourist destination in the North Highlands of Scotland.'”

I have to confess, I would love to stay here!

Wreaths Are Laid At The Cenotaph On Remembrance Sunday

Today, the royal family is marking the 100th anniversary of World War I.

“At 92, Queen Elizabeth is showing no sign of slowing down. Just last week, for example, she was spotted horseback riding on the grounds of Windsor Castle. But she has started to pass on some of her responsibilities to the younger members of her family.

“This morning, Prince Charles lay a wreath at London’s Cenotaph on his mother’s behalf during the national service of remembrance. It is the second year the Prince of Wales has performed the duty on Remembrance Day, which this year holds additional significance, as it falls on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.”

I do not agree with everything Prince Charles has to say, but in this I believe His Royal Highness is 100% correct. When I do agree with him, it usually has to do with architecture, agriculture, or tradition!
